photo report
We celebrated beatmakers, woozy hip hop harmonies and all in between on the *final night* of our open-air series for Melbourne Music Week.

Beatmaker Entro kicked things off, SP404 in tow. Master collaborator / producer Sensible J amped things up before Walla C sent the crowd straight to Rio, chopping Brazilian folk x funk faves. ๐ŸŽ‰ Nynno's soulful pop tones x DOSPLAY kept the dancefloor lifted, as did Kufatali, with Lui Light and Vamasi. Royalty Noise & Tumi The Be delivered one of the best sets of the series, while long-time Section 8 loyal / fresh Def Jam signee Sadiva had Stevensons Lane packed to the brim! โ˜๏ธ

Much-loved headliner Big Words carried us to all the places 2020's twists and turns did; flexing grand ballads, heavy sax and a spillover of dancing punters into the laneway against the backdrop of mind-blowing projection mapping from Simbiotic Vision on the four storey building above.๐ŸŽท Finally, everyone's favourite internet hero DJ Spell helped bid us adieu on another big Melbourne Music Week stint for another year.
