BRISTOL VENUE OWNERS UNITE IN SONG TO SAVE THE THUNDERBOLT
Ok here we go! Last throw of the dice!!!
Many thanks to Chris (Fleece) Matt (Exchange) & Mig (Louie) for doing this! We have released a fund-raising single to help save The Thunderbolt in Totterdown, whose fate is uncertain after prolonged closure due to Covid 19.What's more, we've made the record - "Save our Venues" - and accompanying video in a Covid-safe way - without once getting together in the same room.

Our one off band - called The Venues - comprises Matt Otridge of The Exchange (guitar and vocals), Chris Sharp of The Fleece (bass and vocals), Mig Schillace of The Louisiana (drums) and Dave McDonald of The Thunderbolt (guitar and lead vocals).

The fund-raiser draws attention to the many venues like The Thunderbolt that missed out on the government's Culture Recovery Fund as they're run by sole traders, not limited companies, and are therefore ineligible. We also salute the efforts of Music Venue Trust and BARBIE who have been campaigning hard on the issues!
